Something I’m working on
I’m fascinated by the type of images that are created using a genre of portraits called Low Key. In that, the lighting is used to accentuate the contrast between the lights and the shadows of an image.
We are so used to looking at peoples facial features in normal types of light that when we manage the light source and its direction, a person can be captured in a very different way.
The Process Simply Ongoing
All subjects of interest are a life long passion of learning, building on what’s been done before, thinking about those outcomes. To think for next time, what can I improve upon and what type of shot I am after.
Its simply not a case of shooting at will, or spray and prey as they call it, but to be as precise as possible, going after the shot but equally being cognizant that sports photography cannot always be scripted.
