Different Sports

Its what triggered my passion in photography

Apparently it was Tony Duffy who triggered the genre of sports photography when he snapped the American Long Jumper Bob Beamon at the 1968 Olympics. That ‘peak of action’ shot triggered sport as a subject and triggered my psaasion for photography.

A selection of sports pictures

Being a parent, your kids are often your first subject, and that has remained to this day, but equally an expanded general interests in sports has broadened my horizon somewhat and long may that continue.

Always keen to take shots of clients participating in sports.

The Process Simply Ongoing

All subjects of interest are a life long passion of learning, building on what’s been done before, thinking about those outcomes. To think for next time, what can I improve upon and what type of shot I am after.

Its simply not a case of shooting at will, or spray and prey as they call it, but to be as precise as possible, going after the shot but equally being cognizant that sports photography cannot always be scripted.
